Water Bodies

Waterways

Each farm either neighbors or is surrounded by waterways.

The Cree River in Scotland and the Warnon River in Germany are the most important ones. The Cree is a very important habitat for the Atlantic Salmon. Every year thousands return to spawn far up the river. Water quality is key for Salmon, and we take great precautions with all our farming activities to maintain good water quality.

The Warnon runs through all our German farms. Potentially a water-win area for surrounding towns and of high recreational value for swimmers and canoers, water purity is vital. The river’s shoreland is not cultivated or utilized but instead left to its natural state.
