Birds & Wildlife

Sharing the Land

Red Kite, Sea Eagle, Crane, Lapwing, Common Redshank, pheasants, different thrushes, woodpeckers – there’s too many to name them all. Many bird species find our farms a good place to rest, feed or nest.

Red, Fallow and Roe deer, badgers, foxes, squirrels, and wild boar all live on our fields or surrounding woodlands. We work together with local conservationists and gamekeepers to create a balance between agricultural activities and a healthy population of wildlife. This means, creating nesting and hiding areas, and establishing specific wildlife food plots.
