OUR PRODUCTS

The main activity of Koepon is milk production. The goal for each of the five farms in Europe – organic or conventional – is to produce milk to a very high standard. The milk is then sold to local dairies and paid not only on quality but also on milk solids or volume, depending on the country. We strive to meet the demands of each dairy company by breeding and feeding the cows accordingly.

In addition to milk production, arable farming generates a sizable portion of our income. We grow a range of products, such as corn, wheat, barley, and soya. With one organic farm, we also grow products for the organic market.

Our sheep flock of 3,500 breeding ewes produces quality lamb. This flavorful, nutrient-rich food is sold throughout Germany and beyond. Our ewes are pastured year-round. For better growth, lambs are finished inside on a mix of forage and concentrates.

We also have a small suckler cow herd of 65 Salers that reside in areas where only rough grazing is possible.
